James Hardie Structual Batten
Hardie™ Structural Batten is a castellated structural timber batten accessory that enables vertical installation of and Stria™ Cladding and facilitates drainage and ventilation in the cavity wall.
The unique castellations and top face slope are designed to allow effective air ventilation and help eliminate the risk of water pooling, so it can be used in a system that is compliant with drainage requirements of the National Construction Code 2022.
The Hardie™ Structural Batten also helps to enable re-cladding over an existing brick exterior with vertical Hardie™ Oblique™ Cladding and Stria™ Cladding.

- Standard 70x35mm dimensions to suit common construction sizes
- Multiple cladding fastener solutions in line with current common James Hardie fastener specifications, including a conceal fix solution
- Battens can be installed at a maximum of 900mm spacings for up to N4/C2 wind zones when face fixing
