James Hardie Intermediate Top Hat is a 0.75mm BMT steel section designed for intermediate sheet support in external cladding systems. It is used as part of the James Hardie ExoTec™ Facade Panel and Fixing System to provide consistent support at required fixing centres.
Manufactured from Zincalume® coated steel, the top hat offers durability and corrosion resistance suitable for external wall applications when installed in accordance with James Hardie system specifications. The profile is lightweight, straight and quick to install, helping maintain accurate panel alignment across large façade areas.
This product is supplied in standard lengths and is intended for use only within tested James Hardie cladding systems.
